SALT Marine is a small-group offshore wildlife expedition aboard a high-performance powerboat, searching for the humpback, sperm and pilot whales, the spinner, pantropical spotted and Fraser's dolphins, the turtles, rays and seabirds recorded moving through Vincentian waters.

SALT Marine looks further, into open water most itineraries never reach.
Beyond the sheltered coastline, these islands sit within a much larger living environment. Deep water, currents and underwater topography create habitats for marine life most visitors never go looking for, waters recorded to host humpback, sperm and pilot whales alongside spinner, pantropical spotted, Fraser's, Clymene and Risso's dolphins.
This is not a leisurely cruise between islands. It is an expedition into that wider landscape: fast, open-air and shaped each day by the sea.
Some days the first sign is a fin breaking the surface. Sometimes it is a gathering of seabirds on the horizon. Sometimes nothing appears at all. That is the nature of looking for something wild.
There is no predetermined sighting. No staged encounter. The experience is the search itself.

Following a short offshore briefing, guests board a fast, capable powerboat and head into deeper water. Saint Vincent's mountains begin to recede. Protected bays give way to open sea. Salt spray crosses the bow and the distance between boat and coastline grows deliberately larger.
This is not the transfer to the experience. This is where it begins.
Read the water.
Finding wildlife offshore requires attention. Crew scan the horizon and surface for the details that matter: birds gathering over one patch of water, movement in the distance, an unexplained splash, a disturbance where the sea was empty moments earlier. Local knowledge, recent activity, conditions and judgement influence where the search moves next. Guests join in with binoculars.
There may be long stretches of nothing. And then, suddenly, there may not be.
Wild means never guaranteed.
When marine life is encountered, everything changes pace. Engines ease. Distance is respected. Guests watch. A fin may appear. A pod may break the surface. A turtle may rise for air. Birds may begin diving into water that seemed empty seconds earlier.
Nothing is fed, summoned or pursued for entertainment. Wildlife determines the encounter. That is precisely what makes finding it extraordinary.

SALT Marine is deliberately different from a conventional sightseeing cruise.
The group remains small. The vessel is chosen for genuine offshore capability rather than maximum passenger capacity. Binoculars and selected observation equipment support the search. Onboard hospitality is thoughtful but secondary to the reason everybody is there.

SALT Marine enters a wild environment as a visitor. Wildlife is observed without feeding, touching or deliberately provoking interaction. The captain determines appropriate speed, distance and duration according to conditions, behaviour and applicable guidance.
No species can be promised. Neither can a particular route.
There may be an extraordinary encounter within minutes. There may be hours of searching. Some days the ocean keeps its secrets.
